PAYMENT & REFUND POLICY
In lieu of any tours/tour packages/ services/products or offerings (“Tours”) that you (“User”) choose to obtain from Migrant Musings & Co. (“the Company”), the following payment, booking, refund and cancellation policy (“Payment & Refund Policy”) shall apply. By making any booking with the Company you hereby acknowledge and agree to the terms of this Payment & Refund Policy. Kindly, read the same:
In order for any Tour booking to be confirmed with the Company, the user shall pay a minimum of 50% of the total amount for the Tour charges as specified in the Company’s emails/itinerary details and/or website. The booking shall be deemed to be confirmed only after 50% or 100% of the total amount is paid as booking advance. Please note that all seats for the Company’s Tours are on a first come first serve basis and a booking shall only be confirmed subject to the availability of seats in the respective Tour. The Company holds the right to refuse any booking if the seats are no longer available, if the user does not furnish the requisite legal documents and details or if the conduct of the user is deemed to not be in accordance with the practices of the Company.
If a user books and already booked out Tour, the Company shall process the refund in totality within 30 working days.
Users are required to complete all payments latest by 30 days prior to the commencement of the Tour for all domestic Tours. Users are required to complete all payments latest by 60 days prior to the commencement of the Tour in the case of any international tours out of the state of India.
The Company’s Tours and services start from (but are not limited to) Rs.9,500 and onwards (subject to the specific Tour in question, price will be as specified in the given Tour’s respective details).
In the event of cancellation of your travel or participation in any Tour due to any avoidable / unavoidable reason/s you must notify us regarding the same in writing (only via Email). Cancellation charges will be effective from the date we receive advice in writing, and cancellation charges would be as follows:
120 days or more before the trip start date: full refund (except the GST amount as all invoices are raised directly after the receipt of any booking amount) (the full refund will not include any amount that is categorically defined as “non refundable” under a respective Tour brochure/PDF/email/marketing material or any other communication source).
Between 120 to 90 days before the trip start date: 75% refund (except the GST amount as all invoices are raised directly after the receipt of any booking amount) (the full refund will not include any amount that is categorically defined as “non refundable” under a respective Tour brochure/PDF/email/marketing material or any other communication source).
Between 90 to 75 days before the trip start date: 50% refund (except the GST amount as all invoices are raised directly after the receipt of any booking amount) (the full refund will not include any amount that is categorically defined as “non refundable” under a respective Tour brochure/PDF/email/marketing material or any other communication source).
75 days before the trip: no refund
Certain Tours may have a varying refund/cancellation policy as specified under the Tour PDF/brochure/email and the same shall apply to each respective Tour.
If the refund approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 20 business days. Please remember it can take sometime for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too. If you’re unable to make it for the trip on account of an emergency, then to make things easier for you we’d be happy to accommodate your friend (of the same gender) in your place (subject to being informed in time for getting the required permits/paperwork/ ready) (please note: variable costs – if any- would be self borne, we would simply help swap the seat)
