As we drive through the breathtaking countryside, you’ll find yourself gazing at crystal-clear rivers, lush valleys, and an endless stretch of rolling green hills. With every twist and turn, you’ll be surrounded by the peaceful hum of nature and the beauty of prayer flags fluttering in the wind. Thimphu welcomes you with open arms, offering a perfect blend of rich Buddhist culture and serene landscapes. So take a deep breath, soak in the calm, and let the magic of Bhutan unfold! O/N Thimphu.
Jan 27th, Monday: Today, we’ll explore Bhutan’s royal heart at Tashichhodzong, where you’ll see the King’s throne and immerse yourself in the grandeur of Bhutan’s history. We’ll also visit Golden Buddha Point, home to the world’s largest golden Buddha, and stop by the local post office to send postcards with custom stamps. With stunning views, the calm vibe of Thimphu, and new friends along the way, this day promises to be unforgettable! O/N Thimphu.
Jan 28th, Tuesday: This morning, grab your favorite jacket—you’re heading to an altitude of about 10,500 feet! Welcome to Dochula Pass, where you’ll be greeted by 108 stupas, a tribute to the brave Bhutanese soldiers who lost their lives in the Assam insurgency. And as you take in the peaceful surroundings, be ready for jaw-dropping panoramic views of the mighty Himalayas. Next, we’ll venture to the charming town of Punakha, where you can try your hand at rafting or feel the thrill of standing on the famous Punakha Suspension Bridge. It’s one of those moments where you’ll have to pinch yourself! O/N Punakha.
Jan 29th, Wednesday: Get ready for a fun-filled day because today, we’re heading to the picturesque town of Paro—and yes, we’ll be singing “Kya ada, kya jalwe tere Paro!” (We might be terrible at jokes, but the fun is real!). First, we’ll visit the stunning confluence* of the Wang Chhu and Paro Chhu rivers. How about splashing your face with the chilly mountain water and giggling like kids? Next, we’ll head to Kyushu Lhakhang, Bhutan’s second-oldest temple—time to soak in the spiritual vibes! And then, it’s time for a photoshoot! Dress up in authentic Bhutanese traditional attire, strike a pose, and let’s capture some memories in the country’s vibrant colors. Let’s make it a day to remember! O/N Paro.
Jan 30th, Thursday: Some days are unforgettable, and today is one of those! We’re heading to Tiger’s Nest Monastery, perched high on a cliff, built in 1692, and believed to be where Guru Rinpoche flew in on the back of a tigress. We’ll trek up to this iconic site at over 3,000 meters, and trust us, the view from the top will leave you speechless (and probably squealing with excitement with your fellow adventurers!). After our epic trek, a special MM&Co. treat awaits—a soothing hot stone bath, the perfect way to relax and unwind. Soak in the tradition, savor the moment, and let the adventure of a lifetime sink in! O/N Paro.
Jan 31st, Friday: As we say goodbye to the vibrant colors and peaceful beauty of Bhutan, we’ll drive back to Phuentsholing, but not without a little tug at our hearts. The last day always feels bittersweet, doesn’t it? But we’re not done yet—let’s make this final day extra special! Whether it’s sharing stories, reflecting on the journey, or just soaking in the last glimpses of Bhutan’s magic, we’ll do it together, making memories that will last a lifetime. O/N Phuentsholing.
Feb 1st, Saturday: The time has come to drive down to Bagdogra, where we’ll catch our flights back to our home cities anytime after 2pm. As we share our hugs and goodbyes, the promise of more adventures together hangs in the air. Until we meet again soon, let’s carry the warmth of this journey in our hearts. Safe travels, and see you next time!
