Goa Healing Retreat – Packing Guide

Morning calm at a South Goa healing retreat

This isn’t a rushed holiday — it’s a slow, healing retreat. Think barefoot mornings, ocean therapy, gentle movement, journaling, sunsets and soulful conversations. Pack light, but pack intentionally.

A sneak peek into the weather updates:

    • Day: 28–32°C (warm, sunny, beach-perfect)
    • Night: 22–25°C (pleasant, slightly breezy)
    • Rain: Very low, but coastal drizzles possible

Clothing Essentials

Beach & Retreat Wear

  • Light cotton dresses / kaftans (2–3)
  • Breathable tops + relaxed pants / palazzos
  • Beach sarong / stole (multi‑use: beach, meditation, etc.)
  • Swimwear
  • Cover‑up / oversized shirt for beaches & cafes

Movement & Wellness Sessions

    • Yoga wear / stretchable activewear (2 sets – 1 for yoga and 1 for movement session)
    • Yoga mat/ bedsheet for beach yoga – no, mats would not be available there and doing yoga on the sand would be uncomfortable, thus, carrying either a mat or a sheet is necessary 🙂

Footwear

    • Flip-flops / sliders (daily use)
    • 1 pair of shoes – walks to Cola, secret waterfall and secret beach require a grip

Healing Must‑Haves 🙂

    • Personal journal / notebook – mandatory (it won’t be possible to buy there and is instrumental to some activities, thus, do not forget 🙂 )
    • Pen + highlighter (for reflections & exercises)
    • Reusable water bottle
    • Small cloth bag / tote (for beach days)
    • Yoga Mat/ bedsheet

Beach & Nature Essentials

    • Sunscreen (reef‑safe if possible)
    • Sunglasses + hat/cap
    • Slippers for sand + water activities
    • Microfiber towel (light & quick dry)
    • Wet pouch / ziplock for phone & valuables
    • Lip balm with SPF
    • After‑sun lotion / aloe gel
    • Insect repellent (important for Cola & waterfall areas)

  Health & Safety

    • Personal medicines + prescriptions
    • Motion sickness tablets (kayaking / winding roads)
    • Electrolyte sachets

 Travel Basics

  • Phone + charger + power bank
  • Earphones
  • ID proof (Aadhaar / Govt ID)
  • Driver’s license – as you know this trip involves moving around via scooters or cars, thus, you must carry your driver’s license
  • Cash – approximately 6k
  • Note: Agonda has network issues, thus, UPI may not always work. Similarly, you may at times not be accessible to your loved ones, kindly, let them know about the network challenges.

 Optional but Lovely to Have

  • Knick knacks
  • Small speaker
  • Card games or other games

What NOT to Overpack

  • Heavy makeup or heels (this isn’t your usual partying Goa trip, so, come prepared not for clubs but for cozy walks and meaningful activities 🙂 )
  • Tight, synthetic clothing
  • Over‑planning – this retreat is about letting go

Final Note

This Goa retreat is about healing, softness and slowing down. Pack things that make you feel calm, safe and free. If it helps you breathe deeper or smile wider – it belongs in your bag.

Come as you are. Leave lighter.
