Raised in the buzzing lanes of Mumbai and now an Air Force wife, she’s equal parts warmth, wit, and wonderful chaos- in the best way possible. Neha (stalk here) has a magical talent for turning strangers into friends and trips into stories you’ll retell forever.
What makes her unique is that she started leading trips when she was 55 years old! She leads our special trips for women between ages 45 – 65 years. Making her a one of a kind peer trip leader. To our knowledge we don’t know of any other woman who started leading trips and taking fellow women on journeys at her age. Her trips are closest to her heart as they pave the way for women of a generation to taste independence, liberty and individuality. 🙂
Having worked with AFWWA in multiple roles, she’s calm when plans wobble, fun when the music starts, and always the person you’ll end up confiding in by Day 2. A trained Kathak dancer (yes, graceful and goofy), she believes every journey needs a little rhythm – and maybe a spontaneous dance break if you’re lucky.
Her superpowers?
- Cracking legendary PJs,
- listening like a pro,
- and befriending literally anyone – bus drivers, co-travellers, random uncles, you name it
- And fair warning: silence around Neha is temporary. Give her music, a free evening, or even mild boredom, and she’ll turn it into a full-scale vibe. One minute you’re strangers, the next you’re dancing like you’ve known each other since school.
Travel highlights include:
- Stroopwafel therapy on an Amsterdam canal cruise,
- making Spanish locals and a ladies’ group dance to Hindi songs in Bali,
- and casually rocking sarees on the dreamy beaches of Lakshadweep. Iconic, honestly.
And if the day ends with music somewhere? Oh, you’re in for a treat. Neha has this unmatchable ability to turn quiet evenings into full-blown memory making moments. One minute you’re sipping chai, the next you’re clapping, laughing, and wondering how you ended up dancing under the stars.
Travel with Neha, and you won’t just see places – you’ll feel at home, laugh a lot, and maybe even dance when you least expect it 💃🌏
P.S. If you see her dance, consider yourself very lucky.
